Sara Ali Khan who made her Bollywood debut with Kedarnath has garnered a lot of appreciation for herself after starring in Simmba next to Ranveer Singh and Love Aaj Kal with Kartik Aaryan. The actress is currently one of the most-loved actresses in Bollywood but can you imagine airport officials looking suspiciously at her despite all the fame she has attained? No, right? Well, we are talking about the airport officials of the States and yes, she does get a suspicious look every time she visits. Blame it on her fat-to-fit journey. Before entering the showbiz world, Sara weighed 96 kilos due to PCOD, she had to shed 26 kilos for her Bollywood debut.
Sara often shares some throwback pictures and videos on her account, leaving many inspired by her transformation. However, this drastic transformation makes the US officials a little skeptical whenever they see Sara’s photo ID. While promoting Love Aaj Kal, Sara Ali Khan revealed that her fat-to-fit transformation has left, not just fans but even the US airport authorities surprised. During an interview with comedy group East India Comedy, the actress revealed that whenever she travels to the USA, the airport authorities look a little suspiciously at her because she looks totally different from her identity card photos than in person and well, we don’t quite blame them.
Sara said, “You know what happens is, because I was 96 kgs when I did my ID card picture, there’s a bit of a problem. Because they are like, ‘What?’ and then they put it together. Especially in America.” Sara even said that since her regular visa, student visa are all different, therefore, the USA authorities are like, ‘What is going on? This is a bit shady.’ “My surname is Sultan and it is America, so you can just imagine,” she said. She even joked that she didn’t want to comment further because she doesn’t want to get banned from the USA.
Meanwhile, on the work front, Sara Ali Khan will be next seen in Coolie No. 1 with Varun Dhawan and Atrangi with Akshay Kumar and Dhanush.
