Sara Ali Khan Has Still Not Recovered That She Did Aankh Marey Without Knowing How To Wink
Sara Ali Khan didn’t know how to wink, yet she shot for the song Aankh Marey in Simmba! After all these months, the actress still hasn’t forgotten about it as she recalls the incident on sets of a reality show
Sara Ali Khan and Ranveer Singh starrer Simmba set the cash registers ringing when it released in December last year. The recreated version of the song Aankh Marey also became a rage and turned into a party anthem for youngsters. While, the track was much loved by viewers, not many would know this but Sara Ali Khan didn’t know to wink in reality. Filmmaker Rohit Shetty had confessed it last year, and now after all these months, Sara speaks about it on a reality show.
The actress along with the director of the film, Rohit Shetty marked an appearance on the finale episode of ZEE TV show Movie Masti with Maniesh Paul. Before the episode goes on-air on Nov 16, we bring you her confession right here. Said Sara, "I don't know how to wink because whenever I try to close my one eye, the other eye automatically gets shut and I'll tell you how I told Rohit sir about it during Simmba. He was telling us about how in one close-up shot with Ranveer in Aankh Marey, I had to wink. As Ranveer knew about it, he had told me not to tell him. But finally, I went up to sir and said, 'I actually don't know how to wink.' He was shocked and he just replied, 'What?' I then added, 'I really don't know how to wink and if you see the whole song, I've not winked once."
