Sara Ali Khan Opens Up On Her Biggest Critic, Says Her Mom Amrita Singh’s Opinion Matters The Most: ‘I’m Very Influenced By Everything She Says’

There has been no looking back for Sara Ali Khan, ever since she forayed into Bollywood with her debut film Kedarnath, which released in 2018. Since then, the actress has been winning hearts with her stellar performance in films. After Kedarnath, the actress was seen in Simmba, and Love Aaj Kal, and she is gearing up for the release of her next film Coolie No 1. Sara Ali Khan recently opened up about her biggest critic, and said that while everyone’s opinion matters to her, it’s her mom Amrita Singh’s opinion that matters the most to her.
When asked by ETimes about her biggest critic, Sara Ali Khan said, “I mean, everybody's opinion matters the most.” However, she added that since she has always lived with her mother, she is influenced by everything her mom says, and her opinion matters the most. “I live with my mother and I'm very, very influenced by everything that she says, so her opinion matters the most to me. But the irony is that her opinion is always to me that ultimately the audience's and then the media, or the people that you have to worry about,” said Sara.
Sara Ali Khan added that Amrita Singh often tells her that since she is her mother, she will love everything Sara does anyway. Amrita Singh further advises Sara Ali Khan that it is important that the audience and the media love her. “So if the answer to your question is that, you know, my mom's opinion matters, but my mom's opinion is that the audience’s opinion should matter. So that's the ironic but true answer,” said Sara Ali Khan.
Sara Ali Khan and Varun Dhawan starrer Coolie No 1 will soon release on December 25, 2020, on Amazon Prime Video. Sara Ali Khan is also currently shooting for her next film Atrangi Re which also stars Akshay Kumar and Dhanush.
