Shabana Azmi Posts First Picture Post Car Accident, Thanks Tina Ambani, Fans And Doctors For Help
A few days ago, Shabana Azmi's car had met with a major accident on the Mumbai-Pune highway. She was injured and was immediately rushed to the hospital. Now, post recovering, Shabana Azmi has made her first tweet and thanked everyone for the prayers
It was on the 18th of January that Shabana Azmi's car met with a major accident on the Mumbai-Pune highway. The veteran actress's car rammed into a truck leaving her injured. Her husband and lyricist Javed Akhtar was in the same car but he escaped unhurt. Shabana Azmi received some serious injuries and was immediately rushed to the hospital. Soon she was shifted to Kokilaben Hospital in Mumbai where a lot of celebrities paid her a visit.
After almost 10 days of the incident, Shabana Azmi is back home. The veteran actress made her first tweet post the injury and even shared a smiling picture of her. She seems to have recovered, however, traces of her bruise marks can still be seen under the eye. In the tweet, she has thanked all her fans for the prayers and even the doctors to helped her recover fast. She wrote, "Thank you all for your prayers and wishes for my recovery. Im back home now Thank you #Tina Ambani and Kokilaben Ambani hospital for the sterling care provided by the doctors team and the nursing staff. Im indebted and grateful."

Post the accident, Javed Akhtar had given a health update and had stated that no serious harm was done. "There is good news. All tests and medical reports including the MRI are positive. No serious harm was done. We can all breathe a sigh of relief," he stated.
A lot of fans including a few celebrities like Saqib Saleem sent all the love to Shabana Azmi on her post. It is so good to see her smiling post recovery.
