Shah Rukh Khan and his wife Gauri Khan have joined the fight against coronavirus and did their bit by first making contribution to several funds, and now opening their four-storeyed office for treating COVID-19 patients. This gesture was made known after the local municipal body, Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC), took to social media on Saturday and thanked them for their considerate and thoughtful gesture. Now, Shah Rukh and Gauri have replied to BMC’s tweet, mentioning that they are thankful to be a part of the attempts to help and care for Mumbaikars.
BMC had tweeted, “#StrongerTogether We thank @iamsrk & @gaurikhan for offering their 4-storey personal office space to help expand our Quarantine capacity equipped with essentials for quarantined children, women & elderly. Indeed a thoughtful & timely gesture! #AnythingForMumbai #NaToCorona."
Replying to this tweet, both Shah Rukh Khan and Gauri Khan tweeted, “When we say ‘mybmc’ then it’s with a sense of ownership and pride in all the efforts your teams are putting up to fight covid 19. We both are thankful that we could be a part of your attempts to help and care for Mumbaikars. आमची Mumbai आमची BMC.”
