As we were scrolling down our social media handle, we saw a throwback video of Shah Rukh Khan, Shahid Kapoor breaking a bottle on Ayushmann Khurrana’s head is breaking the internet, pun intended. The video in question is from IIFA 2012 where SRK and Shahid are seen making fun of the newcomers and amongst all, Ayushmann becomes the target who is then called upon the stage. During the stint, SRK then breaks the bottle on the Bala actor, leaving everyone shocked.
During every awards function, we have been seeing where hosts are seen making fun of their own movies or someone else’s. Though some take it sportingly, some are just not okay with it, however, there’s another section where they quietly tolerate and get on with it and that’s what has happened with Ayushmann in this throwback video. In the small clip, as Ayushmann is called on the stage who made his debut with Vicky Donor was asked to mouth a dialogue with a bottle in his hand. However, they later ask him to say SRK’s dialogue. Failing to do so, SRK himself does the scene and then breaks the bottle on Khurrana’s head.
In the video, it is clearly seen that Ayushmann did not like this behaviour and got hurt with a bottle breaking on his head. Sitting in the audience, Anushka Sharma, Vidya Balan, Dia Mirza and Sonu Nigam completely traumatized.
Meanwhile, Ayushmann is currently one of the bankable actors in Bollywood as the actor has given 7 back-to-back hits including the recent one Bala which is now set to cross the 100 crore mark at the box-office. The film also stars Yami Gautam and Bhumi Pednekar.
