Shah Rukh Khan Bought Mannat For Rs 13 Crore And Here's How Much The Grand Mansion Is Worth Today
Shah Rukh Khan needs no introduction as he is not only the King of Bollywood but he is the King of the world. The superstar enjoys a gigantic fan base in India as well as in other countries. Apart from terrific acting skills and his iconic and superhit movies that he has delivered in his three-decade-long career, SRK is also known for holding the most prized possessions, his home 'Mannat'. Once a heritage villa which is now a six-story palace is one of the main tourist attractions in Mumbai. Shah Rukh had his heart set on 'Villa Vienna' (the original name of Mannat) since the filming of Yes Boss in 1997. SRK bought ‘Villa Vienna’ from the ‘Bai Khorshed Bhanu Sanjana Trust’ in 2001 and renamed it 'Mannat' in 2005. It is one of the most priced and expensive properties of SRK, hence, the hype and the craze among his fans is quite apt.

However, did you know, once upon a time, SRK bought Mannat for Rs. 13 crores? And at that time, he paid a nominal rent of just Rs. 2,325 a year. But when the Maharashtra Government revised land prices for the Mumbai Metropolitan Region, he was given a choice to either continue to rent Mannat at Rs. 19 lakh per year or simply buy the 26,329 sq ft sea-facing bungalow for Rs. 8.3 crore, as reported by Zee News. But reportedly, Mannat is now valued at Rs 200 crore. That's right! However, just to be clear, this is just Mannat's asking price, the market price would be a lot higher than this. SRK often talked about the significance of the house to him and has said that if he were to ever be broke, he would sell everything but not ‘Mannat’

Workwise, after starring in 2018 Aanand L. Rai's flick, Zero alongside Katrina Kaif and Anushka Sharma, SRK has reportedly signed his next with South director Atlee where he will play a double role of a father and son in the action flick. King Khan is said to have signed Yash Raj Studios' 50th Anniversary film and as per the report, the film is titled Pathan.
