The ad film features Shah Rukh Khan - as the brand ambassador of small, local businesses that suffered due to the coronavirus pandemic - amid the ongoing investigation against his son Aryan Khan in a drugs case. The commercial ad has got the internet praising the initiative.

Notably, amid the chaos of his son’s arrest by the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB), Shah Rukh Khan had put all his work commitments on hold. This ad film by Cadbury, hence, comes as a happy surprise for SRK fans. Shah Rukh Khan, in the ad, is seen urging people to buy goods from local vendors in order to support their livelihood. As usual, the actor looks dapper in an off white sherwani.

As soon as the ad was released on the digital platform, fans took to social media to praise their most favourite star. While some fans spoke of the power of the superstar, few claimed how the actor has aced the art of spreading positivity. Others also praised the ad commercial for its distinguished concept.

This ad film comes in the wake of a brand pausing its partnership with SRK. Online tutoring company Byju’s stopped all advertisements featuring its brand ambassador Shah Rukh Khan amid the Aryan Khan drugs probe. According to a report, Byju’s stopped all ads over the last few days after the company came under fire on social media platforms like Twitter.
