Shah Rukh Khan's star wifey Gauri Khan celebrated her 49th birthday yesterday,i.e., on September 8. We expected to see many Bollywood stars flocking their residence Mannat to celebrate the occasion, but that did not happen. It was quite a chill 49th birthday for Gauri as the couple organised a very intimate and private bash for friends and family. Gauri Khan who is also known as The First Lady of Bollywood has many friends in the industry even though she is not an actor.
As per a report in Mumbai Mirror, SRK and Gauri ditched a big bash and instead celebrated the special day with their youngest son AbRam. Aryan Khan and Suhana Khan are abroad completing their studies and hence could not be here to celebrate their mom's birthday. However, Shah Rukh Khan's New Delhi besties Shalini and Sanjay Passi flew down to Mumbai to spend time with the Khans.
The report also states that Gauri met few friends like Sanjay and Maheep Kapoor, Rima Jain and Nitasha Nanda over dinner. However, we did not see any pictures from this intimate gathering making it to social media.
Though not a big bash, Gauri received a lot of love from her friends on social media. Karan Johar who is very close to Gauri took to Instagram to dedicate a post to her. He wrote, "Happy birthday to the strongest silent support system in my life...the most real person I know...beautiful within and beautiful always ....and one must never be fooled with her blank stare because she is ridiculously on point with her observations! She makes me laugh with her manual of how to live a stress free life ( she knows what I am talking about) also am so proud with how she has created a solid professional zone for herself and is super successfully running a design enterprise...I love you so much Gauri! You don’t realise how much of a force you are in all our lives....shine on!! Happy birthday ..."
