The people of Delhi chose their leader as the much-awaited Delhi Election 2020 results came out yesterday. The Delhi elections which were held on February 8, were dominated by Arvind Kejriwal’s Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) and AAP supporters all around India were celebrating the massive victory. Kejriwal will become the Chief Minister for the third time and of course, his team is overjoyed. They celebrated their win by sharing Shah Rukh Khan’s World Cup-winning clip from his 2007 film Chak De! India.

A night before the results were announced, the official account of AAP had expressed their emotions by giving it a Bollywood twist. Sharing a snap from Aamir Khan’s Lagaan that saw its leading lady and other people praying to god, they wrote, “The night before results day,” followed by fingers cross emoticons. So it was only apt that AAP would express their emotions at winning with yet another Bollywood reference. Sharing their joy, they wrote, “Emotions right now...,” and shared a clip of Shah Rukh from Chak De! India where he can be seen having an emotional moment as his team wins the World Cup. Arvind Kejriwal’s Aam Aadmi Party won the Delhi elections with 63 seats. The minimum sears required to form the government is 35, so clearly AAP won by a huge margin. Bollywood celebrities such as Riteish Deshmukh, Gul Panag, Urmila Matondkar, Vishal Dadlani, Anubhav Sinha and many others took to their social media and congratulated Arvind Kejriwal and AAP for the win.
