Shah Rukh Khan's Next Revealed; Karan Johar Confirms Brahmastra To Break SRK's One Year Hiatus From The Movies
It has been quite a long time since we saw Shah Rukh Khan on the big screen and fans are eagerly waiting for him to announce his next film. It was in 2018 film Zero that King Khan was last seen. Directed by Aanand L Rai, and also starring Katrina Kaif and Anushka Sharma, Zero failed to perform well at the box-office. Shah Rukh Khan fans are growing impatient with each passing day. It was back in 2019 that reports of Shah Rukh’s cameo in Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor starrer Brahmastra had surfaced, however, SRK hadn’t confirmed it.

Adding to these reports were also the pictures of Shah Rukh Khan’s vanity van on the sets of Brahmastra. These pictures had surfaced on the Internet and were a huge giveaway. Now, Karan Johar has confirmed the same and while talking to Mumbai Mirror, he said, “Shah Rukh himself likes Ayan’s work and immediately agreed to the cameo. And like everyone else’s in the film, even SRK’s character has the mythological touch." However, he did not reveal what role Shah Rukh will be playing.

Further, Karan Johar said that Ayan Mukerji, Ranbir Kapoor, and Alia Bhatt will forever be grateful to him for coming on board with his inputs. He also added that the energy Shah Rukh Khan’s presence brings on the set of a film is unparalleled. The release date of the film hasn’t yet been revealed and when asked about the same, he shared that he will reveal the release date of Brahmastra Part 1 very soon.
