Fans miss watching Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan on the big screen. The actor who is known for his charm and leaving fans amused with his acting skills was last seen in the Anand L Rai film titled Zero that also starred Katrina Kaif and actress Anushka Sharma in pivotal roles. Now, after taking more than a 2-year break since the release of film Zero, according to the latest reports, as the lockdown slowly opens, Shah Rukh Khan is planning to kick-start shooting for filmmaker Rajkumar Hirani’s immigration social drama in October.
According to reports in Peepingmoon.com, Shah Rukh Khan has asked Hirani to get all set to shoot for the immigration drama accordingly as the actor will not be comfortable to resume shooting before October. The report states that King Khan has read over 20 scripts and is also in talks with several leading filmmakers for his next. Amidst that, as the actor was set to start shooting for Hirani’s movie in mid-May, the film was stalled due to the lockdown in the wake of the pandemic.
As per the report, SRK has asked Rajkumar Hirani to complete the recce of the film and kick-start the pre-production process. The report states that the pre-production process will happen virtually which will help the team to immediately dive into production once the situation settles. Per reports, SRK also asked the filmmaker to fine-tune the script along with writers Kanika Dhillon and Abhijat Joshi.
Meanwhile, talking about Rajkumar Hirani and Shah Rukh Khan’s upcoming project, the film is a lighthearted drama set against the backdrop of immigration. As SRK and Rajkumar Hirani gear up for their upcoming project, this film will mark the first collaboration of the actor-director duo. Speaking of King Khan, on the other hand, the actor is enjoying his time with his family and kids. He has also helped many through relief funds and donations in the wake of the pandemic.
