Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan is currently enjoying the blockbuster success of Altee directorial Jawan. He is one of the few actors in the Hindi film industry, who enjoy celebrating all the festivals in their home with the family and close friends. Just like every year, this year too the actor welcomed lord Ganesha into his home on Ganesh Chaturthi. He had taken to his official social media handles to share a photo of the idol, which left his followers with mixed reactions.

Taking to his official X handle, formerly known as Twitter, SRK wrote, “Welcome home Ganpati Bappa Ji. Wishing you and your family a wonderful day honoring Lord Ganesha. May Lord Ganesha bless all of us with happiness, wisdom, good health and lots of Modak to eat!!!” Netizens were quick to take to the comment section of his post to criticise him for celebrating Hindu festivals despite being a Muslim.
