Shah Rukh Khan Won’t Announce His Next Film In June, Says, “Mera Dil Nahi Kar Raha”
Shah Rukh Khan has called off his plans of announcing his next movie in June. The actor intends to take his own sweet time in finalising the next project
Shah Rukh Khan fans were waiting with bated breath for June to arrive quicker because the superstar had stated in an interview that he would be making his next film announcement in the month. The actor had said, “I think I will take a decision for the next film that I am going to do by June. I am just listening to films and I want to spend some time just listening and working on them. So by June, I should take a call what film I want to do.”
Unfortunately, the star has now gone back on his words of announcing a film in June. In an interview with CRI Hindu, SRK says, “I have no film with me right now. I am not working on any film. Usually what happens is when your one film is coming to an end, you begin work on your next film and I get involved within 3-4 months. But this time I am just not feeling like...My heart doesn't allow me to..I just felt that I should rather take time out, watch films, listen to stories and read more books. Even my kids are in their college stage...my daughter is going to college and my son is about to finish his studies. So I just want to spend more time with my family.”
He adds, “I think yesterday I said somewhere that I'll be announcing my film in June. I will actually not even decide in June. I'll do it whenever I genuinely feel like. I act only when I feel like from the bottom of my heart. And right now, mera dil nahi kar raha. Many are narrating stories, I have heard about 15-20 stories. I have even liked 2 or 3 stories out of them but I have not decided when will I be doing it because I feel the moment I take a decision, I'll have to start working on films and then I won't get to come to Beijing (smiles). I'll just get consumed by the film...So at least for 2-4 months I might not do anything. There are a few good stories but I have not taken a decision emotionally. Mentally they are very nice and I know it but emotionally I haven't decided anything as yet.”
That’s a bit disappointing to know. His last film Zero failed to live up to the audience expectations. Post that, the actor opted out of the Rakesh Sharma biopic and there has been no official announcement on Don 3 either. So, we have to wait a bit longer.
