The 19-year-old has accompanied Shahid to Amritsar, where the actor is shooting for Abhishek Chaubey's Udta Punjab. It was Shahid's idea to take Ishaan along so that he could experience what goes behind the shooting of a film. The actor feels that his early exposure to filmmaking will help him understand the finer nuances of acting. 
We hear, the Haider actor has also asked his personal trainer to work on Ishaans physique.Previously, the youngster worked as one of the child artistes in Shahid starrer Vaah! Life Ho Toh Aisi.
