Shahid Kapoor Is Shifting Next To His Padmavaat Co-Star Deepika Padukone? Hear It From The Kabir Singh Actor
In his recent interview, Shahid Kapoor has cleared the air on becoming his Padmaavat co-star Deepika Padukone’s future neighbour and also spilt the beans on his shifting plans
Shahid Kapoor is riding high on the mammoth success of recently released, Kabir Singh, which has, so far, emerged as the highest-grossing Bollywood film of 2019. Soon after this, there were speculations of him, along with his family, hunting for a new house in the Maximum City. Reports added that Shahid Kapoor has zeroed down to an 8000 square-foot posh apartment in Worli, where he is to shift by this year-end. Well, that would then make him his Padmaavat co-star Deepika Padukone’s neighbour, as she also is speculated to have a house in the same area. Now, in a conversation with Hindustan Times, the actor has cleared the air on these rumours. Upon being asked about his shifting plans, Shahid Kapoor revealed that there’s still time for that to happen. “It’s a bit far away (from being ready). We still have to start getting it done up and all. I don’t think we can look at shifting for another year or two.” Further, he was quizzed about becoming his Padmaavat co-star Deepika Padukone’s future neighbour, to which Shahid Kapoor jokingly said that he isn’t sure if Deepika owns any property in that area. However, he feels that such news stories make for good headlines.
On the work front, it was only recently that Shahid Kapoor announced starring in the official Hindi remake of Telugu film Jersey, which starred superstar Nani in the lead role. The film is going to be helmed by the same director and is expected to hit the big screens in August 2020.
