Shahid Kapoor Signs On Dotted Line For An Amazon Prime Web Series Helmed By Raj And DK
As per reports Shahid Kapoor has said yes to a web series to be directed by Raj Nidimoru and Krishna DK
Boom in the digital platform has got everyone’s attention to it, producers as well as actors be it established or budding ones, have tried their luck in it. Kabir Singh actor Shahid Kapoor has joined the bandwagon, in the recent past there was news of the actor signing a deal worth Rs. 100 crore with Netflix. Now as per reports in Pinkvilla, the actor has signed on the dotted lines for a web series helmed by Raj Nidimoru and Krishna DK.
The duo after their debut digital venture, The Family Man which garnered immense praises will be seen directing this Shahid Kapoor starrer, having all the elements just like a Bollywood film along with their dash of thrill and quirks. The source informs, “Shahid has signed a big digital series which will be directed by Raj Nidimoru and Krishna DK, the directors of Stree and The Family Man. After tasting super success with The Family Man especially on the web, several OTT giants were in talks with the director duo to design a project for them.”
“They have finally been signed on by a leading digital platform for an original show which will have all the essential ingredients that a usual Bollywood film has. It's a thriller that will have the quirks of Raj and DK infused in it. They approached Shahid for the same and he loved it. He has signed on the dotted line,” added the source.
Also the actor before diving into this project will first wrap up the shoot of his next Jersey which went on hold due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
