Shahid Kapoor To Turn Producer

Rumours had been rife during Haider that Shahid Kapoor plans to turn producer, but we didn't see his name in the credits. Seems, he preferred to play a silent foil to Vishal Bhardwaj and UTV.

Well, Shahid's wish to become a producer has not died down.
Buzz now is, he plans to make it official shortly with the launch of a production house.
If all goes as per the Jab We Met star, Pankaj Kapur will direct the first film of his son's banner.

Papa Pankaj had directed Shahid in Mausam (2011) produced by Madhu Mantena and Sheetal Talwar, but the film failed to set the cash registers ringing.
