Shahid Kickstarts Rangoon Shoot

Sulking over Shaandaar done, holiday in Sri Lanka done, Shahid Kapoor is now back to work. The actor kicked off his Rangoon shoot at Mehboob Studios in Bandra, Mumbai yesterday.
Shahid was the only actor from the cast present at the mahurat shot apart from director Vishal Bhardwaj, Sajid and Warda Nadiadwala, Rekha Bhardwaj and her kids. Interestingly, it was also producer Sajid and Warda's 15th wedding anniversary yesterday.
The drama set during World War II, which also stars Saif Ali Khan and Kangana Ranaut, is Vishal's most ambitious film to date. And it comes at an important juncture in Shahid's career - he has suffered a blow in Shaandaar and is hoping to recreate the Haider magic with Vishal. We hear, the actor will even be meeting army officials from the era to polish his role.
The first schedule will last 10 days in the city before the team heads to the India-Burma border for the next schedule.
