Shahid-Mira Have A Low-key Roka In Delhi
B-towns favourite bachelor, Shahid Kapoor is slowly inching towards losing that tag
SpotboyE.com learnt that the actor had his roka ceremony with fiance Mira Rajput on Saturday.
The ceremony took place at Chhatarpur Farms on the outskirts of Delhi in the presence of family and close friends. While Pankaj Kapur was present, Neelima Azeem was conspicuous by her absence.
Shahid, who was shooting for Udta Punjab in Amritsar, wrapped up his work on Friday itself so that he could make it to the function on time on Saturday.
The invite was specially designed by Miras four friends. Mira looked resplendent in a golden dress with minimal jewellery and make-up. A cake, bearing a picture of the couple, was brought in to be cut by her. The blushing bride-to-be cut the cake as a photo of the couple, clicked earlier, was placed on the table.
The highlight of the evening though was Shahids gift for his lady love. He gifted her a solitaire diamond ring, which was custom-made by a Delhi-based jeweller. The Haider actor ordered it about 20 days in advance and picked it up on his way to the function.
It rumouredly costs a staggering Rs 22-25 lakh. Wow! But you know what they say love is priceless.
