Ever since Shahid Kapoor admitted to getting married to Delhi girl Mira Rajput this year, there has been unending speculation around his wedding. While June 10 is being rumoured as the wedding date, the latest development on this front is that the actor is gearing up for a destination wedding much like his next film Shandaar that revolves around a destination wedding.
Initially, the families (Kapoors, Rajputs) were torn between three choices Greece, Bali and Istanbul. However, Shahid was interested in the first two options.
Destination weddings seem to be growing popular in B-town. For those who’ve come in late, Kunal Kapoor and Naina Bachchan tied the knot in Seychelles in February this year. Earlier, Rani Mukerji-Aditya Chopra and Lara Dutta- Mahesh Bhupathi had destination weddings in Italy and Goa respectively.
