Shahid To Step Into Hrithik's Shoes?

Vishal Bhardwaj and Hrithik Roshan have harboured dreams of working together since a long time. Seven years ago, Vishal wanted to remake the Leonardo DiCaprio-Matt Damon-Jack Nicholson starrer The Departed with Hrithik. But for reasons best known to Vishal, the film did not take off.

Seven years ago, Vishal wanted to remake the Leonardo DiCaprio-Matt Damon-Jack Nicholson starrer The Departed with Hrithik. But for reasons best known to Vishal, the film did not take off.
 
A month ago, buzz was that Hrithik had given the nod to Vishal's screen adaptation of Shakespeare’s drama King Lear, to be produced by Sajid Nadiadwala. But now, Hrithik has turned down that film.
 
A source close to the film says, “Its an intense love story and not a Shakespeare drama."


 
SpotboyE.com further has it that Vishal has now turned to his Kaminey and Haider star Shahid Kapoor.


 
Will Hrithik and Vishal ever work together? Your guess is as good as ours.
