Shakti Kapoor On Coronavirus' 'Horrifying Terror': 'Gave Up Smoking For A Week But Then Surrendered; Wife And Children Are Looking After Me'
Terming COVID-19 pandemic as a 'horrifying terror', veteran actor Shakti Kapoor gives away deets of his day-to-day life during the lockdown period. The actor is quarantined with his family – wife Shivangi Kolhapure, daughter Shraddha Kapoor and son Siddhant Kapoor during the lockdown
Worked in more than 700 odd movies veteran actor Shakti Kapoor is finally on his much deserving break due to lockdown announced with the outbreak of COVID-19. The actor in conversation to an entertainment portal shared his day-to-day routine during this lockdown. He also shared of his family taking care of him and the actor revealed of quitting smoking too. He also urged citizens of the country to follow the protocol of lockdown as per the announcement of our honourable PM Narendra Modi.
He was quoted saying by E Times, “I intend to give up smoking. I am trying very hard. I gave up for a week. But then, I surrendered and I smoked a couple of cigarettes again. I don’t want to do it anymore. So on the contrary, my wife and my children are looking after me.” Currently quarantined at his residence with his family- daughter Shraddha Kapoor, wife Shivangi Kolhapure and son Siddhant Kapoor, the actor expressed of this pandemic being a horrifying terror.
When asked what keeps him busy throughout the day, he mentioned of watching news every morning with a hope to hear something positive, but so far the fate remains the same. He also shared of watching web series which taught him about humanity, relationships and also exercising in the evening.
Meanwhile he also spilled the beans about how his family members are keeping themselves busy. While wife Shivangi keeps herself busy in prayers and spirituality, daughter Shraddha has been glued to reading and exercising and lastly his son Siddhant being into social services during the time of crisis.
