Shamita Shetty On Living Under The Shadow Of Shilpa Shetty: 'There Is Constant Comparison And Expectations, My Sister Knows My Struggle'
Shamita Shetty emerged as the third runner-up of Bigg Boss 15. Though she didn't win the show, she managed to win many hearts. From Bigg Boss OTT to Bigg Boss 15, Shamita's journey in the house was full of ups and downs. In a recent interview, Shamita opened up about how she dealt with personal attacks that were made on her throughout the show and also spoke about living under the shadow of her sister Shilpa Shetty.

Speaking to ETimes, "A lot of people out there don't understand how difficult it has been for me in the industry. They only want to believe that it is easy because I've someone in the industry. But they don't understand that it is very difficult for a sibling to make their mark in the industry especially when there is constant comparison and a lot more expectations. And it has been a struggle for me and my sister Shilpa knows my struggle." Reacting to the personal attacks made on her, Shamita said, "There were moments where I really broke down in the house. It was very difficult to digest and absorb the things that were being said to me. It was horrible. It is a horrible feeling for anyone to have. But luckily I managed to put myself together and came back stronger each time. I continued my journey and I am glad that I reached the end."

Post Bigg Boss 15, Shamita is yet to announce her next project. Currently, she is busy spending quality time with her beau Raqesh Bapat. She met him on the Karan Johar-hosted show Bigg Boss OTT. The couple fell in love in the BB OTT house and since then, they have been giving major relationship goals to their fans.
