Shamita Shetty Abused By Motorist In Road Rage Incident; Driver Slapped
A motorist with two of his friends, rammed into Shamita Shetty’s car, threatened and slapped her driver in a road rage accident
Bollywood actress Shamita Shetty has been verbally abused in a road rage accident. The incident took place yesterday, near Viviana Mall Thane, when a motorist, who was accompanied by two of his friends rammed his car into Shetty’s vehicle. But no injury was reported at the accident spot
A report in Times Of India states, “The police have registered a case against the three yet-to-be-identified persons, whose vehicle details have been provided by Shetty’s driver, Darshan Sawant, in his complaint at the Rabodi police station. An officer said Shetty was in Thane for some personal work and the incident took place around 1.30pm. When Sawant stopped the car to inspect the damage, the three accused in other vehicle too alighted and reportedly picked up a fight. Sawant said that the trio slapped and threatened him.”

TOI report further suggests that Shamita Shetty’s case has been registered under sections 279, 323, 504, 506 , 427 and 34 of the Indian Penal code. “An offence has been registered against the trio who are yet to be arrested, the police said adding that the car involved in the accident has been identified,” the report states.
