Ranbir Kapoor’s period dacoit action drama Shamshera is up for release on July 2022
Ranbir Kapoor has been making it to the headlines for all the right reasons. The actor has interesting projects in his arsenal and while fans are already hyped over the recently released trailer of his upcoming film ‘Brahmastra’; there’s another reason for them to celebrate. Yes, you’re read that right!
Well, there’s a new update around his another film Shamshera, which will be released in July this year. And we bet after reading about this new update, fans cannot keep clam.
Interestingly, Ranbir Kapoor’s period dacoit action drama Shamshera is up for release next and even before the promotions would begin, Shamshera’s poster has been leaked online and the picture featuring Ranbir Kapoor and his character's look from the film is going viral on social media.
The film’s shoot is said to have been wrapped up in September 2020 and Shamshera is scheduled for a July release.
A Ranbir Kapoor fan page shared a poster of Shamshera on their Instagram handle. The poster has a Yellow Ochre-ish tint which goes with the period drama plot. The actor sports a wavy mane which is seen flowing along with the breeze. He has a bushy beard as well.
Speaking about the film, Shamshera is a period-action dacoit drama and several reports suggest that it Ranbir will be seen featured in a double role for the first time ever. The film also stars Sanjay Dutt and Vaani Kapoor. Dutt plays the lead antagonist whereas Vaani is reportedly playing a dancer in the Karan Malhotra directorial.
