Shehnaaz Gill’s relationship with the late actor Sidharth Shukla was deep and strong. Although they had never confirmed their relationship in public, those who know them say that the two were madly in love with each other. In fact, the proceedings of Sidharth's last rites seem to have confirmed their strong relationship. Shehnaaz often used to make Sidharth speak with her colleagues and co-stars. Recently, while remembering Sidharth, Diljit Dosanjh recalled how Shehnaaz got him and the late actor acquainted over a video call.  

Shehnaaz’s Punjabi film Honsla Rakh’s co-star Diljit shared a happy photo of Sidharth Shukla and tweeted, “1 Vaari Video Call Te Gal Karai c Shenaaz Ne.. Baut hee Hasmukh c Veera..Kehnda c mileyo Jadon Mumbai aeye.. Shocking (Shehnaaz once made me talk to him on a video call. What a happy go lucky person he was. He asked me to meet him whenever I am in Mumbai).”

Also, singer Arjun Kanungo, who featured with Shehnaaz in a single 'Waada Hai', also expressed his grief over Sidharth's tragic demise. He said he had spoken to Sidharth a couple of times. Alongside his picture, he wrote, “Life is so unpredictable. Was shocked when I heard the news. Too young to go so soon. Rest in peace. #sidharthshukla.”

"We spoke on the phone a couple of times when I was shooting with Shehnaaz. Sad we didn’t ever meet like we had planned," he added.

During Sidharth Shukla’s visit to Punjab, Shehnaaz Gill's brother Shehbaz had introduced all of his cousins to him. Both Sidharth and Shehnaaz shared a great bond with each other’s families.

Sidharth and Shehnaaz's love story started on Bigg Boss 13 - which he later won and she stood as the second runner-up. Following the untimely death of Sidharth Shukla, Shehnaaz Gill is left shocked and heartbroken. The actress is in a state of denial and is yet to accept the reality that he is no more, people who visited her and Sidharth's family have revealed. Sidharth reportedly breathed his last while he lay in Shehnaaz's lap, early morning of September 2.
