Shehzada: Kartik Aaryan Charges A Whopping Amount Of Rs 21 Crores For His Role In Rohit Dhawan's Upcoming Film -Report
Shehzada is the remake of Telugu film Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo.
Kartik Aaryan has many interesting projects in the pipeline. One of his many films fans are looking forward to is Shehzada. For the uninitiated, Shehzada is a remake of Ala Vaikunthapurramloo. Kartik will be stepping into the shoes of Allu Arjun. Also, he will be reuniting with his Luka Chuppi actress Kartik Sanon. Directed by Rohit Dhawan, Shehzada's tagline is 'He Returns Home'.
Kartik and Kriti had made the announcement a couple of days ago. Sharing the news, Kartik wrote in the caption, "#Shehzada Duniya ka Sabse Gareeb Prince."
According to a report in Bollywood Hungama, Kartik is charging a whopping amount of Rs 21 Crore for the film. The report says, "Kartik is slowly taking the stride to be among the top stars of the industry and his remuneration is the right indication of his rising popularity. The young dynamite has charged a huge sum of Rs 21 crores for this action comedy, which is his highest for a single theatrical film till date."
It further adds, "Kartik is flexiable to adjust his fees based on the genre and appeal of the film in the market. Since Sajid's film was required to be made in a certain budget, he was happy to cut down his fees. However, Shehzada is an outright commercial entertainer that can set the box office on fire and hence, he went ahead with premium charges. The producers were more than happy to accommodate his request given his popularity."
Kartik's line-up of films include Dhamaka, Hansal Mehta's Captain India, Freddy and Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2. Talking about Kriti, her upcoming projects include Hum Do Humare Do, Bachchan Pandey, Bhediya and Adipurush.
