Actress Sherlyn Chopra in a new interview has made some shocking revelations after she opened up about facing rejection in the film industry. She revealed that the entire industry rejected her and even filmmakers Mahesh Bhatt and Ram Gopal Varma refused to work with her saying “you are not salty enough, you don’t have that thing in you.” Chopra even mentioned that she had suicidal thoughts due to rejections and breakups post her father's demise.
Speaking with Free Press Journal, the actress was quoted saying, “I was rejected by the entire industry. Directors Mahesh Bhatt and Ram Gopal Varma had rejected me. I don't know the reasons though for my rejection. Adding to this, she stated she felt like committing suicide after facing constant rejections. She went on to recall that back in school, she was a topper, and even today her batch-mates say, 'Humari chashmish president itni khoobsurat ban gayi hai.' The actress also spoke about her wedding plans and asserted her husband should be a millionaire, a one woman man and not a liar.
On the professional front, Sherlyn Chopra is known for her work in films like Kamasutra: The Revenge, Time Pass, Wajah Tum Ho, Dosti: Friends Forever, Raqib, Dil Bole Hadippa, and others.
