Shilpa Shetty is an ardent worshipper of Goddess Durga. She has been updating her fans and followers about the proceedings of the nine days of Navratri at her place. The actress celebrated Durga Ashtami at her home today, and performed Kanjak Puja - a ritual wherein people who fast for the nine days serve delicacies to young girls (who haven't started menstruating yet).
Giving a glimpse into the Kanjak Puja, Shilpa posted short videos on her Instagram Stories. She captioned one of her posts as, "#happykanjak puja #Jaimatadi followed by heart and nazar amulet emoji. She also shared a video of the nine girls (who represents the nine forms of Goddess Durga) and wrote, "Sare Bolo Jai Mata Di."
On Monday, she performed Navratri Puja for the sixth day, and was joined by her kids and her staff. She wrote in the caption, "My #MondayMotivation... my kids and faith. Some things can't just be passed down to the next generation without them witnessing us doing it. It's important to me that my kids grow up with the same values and traditions that our parents inculcated in us. Sowing the seeds of faith in both of them from a young age was something I always intended doing... because I know that faith grows stronger and becomes a lot more deep-rooted as we grow older & helps us experience life in all its glory surrendering to the almighty. Bliss. Happy Monday to all of you!" ALSO READ:Shilpa Shetty Performs Navratri Puja At Home With Her Kids, Viaan Raj Kundra and Samisha Shetty Kundra-Watch Video
