The entire India is celebrating Independence day, but of course with restrictions due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. While all the celebs took to their social media accounts and posted Independence Day wishes, Shilpa Shetty Kundra, who is currently embroiled in a controversy, too joined the bandwagon. The actress posted a video of the Indian flag with a piece of patriotic music playing in the background.
Wishing everyone, Shilpa Shetty wrote in her Instagram post, “Wishing all my fellow Indians around the world a very Happy Independence Day.” After her husband was booked for his involvement in producing pornography content, Shilpa Shetty has been on a break from her work commitments. The actress was judging Super Dancer Chapter 4, but now makers are roping in guest judges to step in - in her absence.
Supporting Shilpa in this battle were filmmaker Hansal Mehta and actors Richa Chaddha and Himansh Kohli. While Hansal and Richa took to their social accounts to extend their support, Himansh Kohli in an interview said he hoped everything gets sorted soon.
On the work front, Shilpa Shetty was last seen in Hungama 2, premiered on Disney+ Hotstar. Her film, Nikamma, directed by Sabbir Khan is awaiting release.
