Shilpa Shetty Kundra To Make Her Bollywood Comeback With Nikamma
Shilpa Shetty Kundra will once again be seen creating her magic on the big screen with the film Nikamma after a sabbatical of 13 long years
Bollywood actress Shilpa Shetty once ruled the big screen and made a mark with her films back in the 90’s. However, the actress was last seen acting in the 2007 film Apne and only appeared in a few cameo appearances after that. She was recently on the judging panel of a dance-based reality show. The actress recently gave her fans a big surprise and has announced her Bollywood comeback after 13 long years with the film Nikamma.
Shilpa Shetty will make her Bollywood comeback with the film Nikamma directed by Sabbir Khan. The film will include Abhimanyu Dassani of Mard Ko Dard Nahi Hota fame, and famous Youtube singer Shirley Sethia. Shilpa Shetty took to Instagram and shared the news of her sabbatical coming to an end on Instagram. She wrote, “Yesssssssss, it's true! My sabbatical of 13 long years comes to an end.. I am so excited to announce that the film you will see me next in is #Nikamma, directed by @sabbir24x7 (cast still being finalised) featuring these amazing and talented actors @abhimanyud @shirleysetia @sonypicturesin. Need all your blessings and Thank you for all the love always.”
The actress opened up about her comeback to films and told Times Of India, "It feels great. I am ready to take the plunge again. It's a refreshing and unique project, and I am looking forward to working with Sabbir. I loved my role as it's something that I have never attempted before. I can't wait for the audience to see me in a new avatar."
We are definitely excited for her comeback on the big screen ! Shilpa Shetty was also on the judging panel of the dance based reality show Super Dancer 3 along with Geeta Kapoor and Anurag Basu.
