Shilpa Shetty and Raj Kundra are over the moon as they welcomed their second child home. Opting for surrogacy, Shilpa and Raj Kundra embraced parenthood again as their daughter was born on February 15. Elated parents took to social media to share the news with the world. They even revealed the little one's name. Shilpa and Raj have named their daughter Samisha. Revealing the meaning of her name, Shilpa shared that 'Sa’ in Sanskrit is “to have”, and ‘Misha’ in Russian stands for “someone like God”.
You personify this name - our Goddess Laxmi, and complete our family.'
Now to Mumbai Mirror, Shilpa has spilled the beans about becoming a mother again. She revealed that the couple had been trying for five years and that she always wanted a baby girl. She was quoted saying, "We had been trying for second child for five years. I had signed Nikamma and had committed my dates to Hungama when I got the news that in February, we were going to be parents again. We cleared our work schedules for the whole month.”
Raj Kundra too had taken to Instagram to share the picture of their daughter holding his finger and wrote, "I can’t express how happy @theshilpashetty and I are to announce the newest member of our family Samisha Shetty Kundra blessed with a baby girl."
Further, she also revealed that she had picked the name for her daughter when she was 21. We are so happy for the two. We now wish to see the first glimpse of little Samisha.
