Shilpa Shetty’s Husband Raj Kundra Granted Bail In Pornography Case
Shilpa Shetty’s husband Raj Kundra has been granted bail on the surety of Rs. 50,000 as per a report
Shilpa Shetty’s husband Raj Kundra has finally heaved a sigh of relief, as reported in TOI, Raj Kundra has been granted bail. The actress’ husband has been granted bail in the pornography case on the surety of Rs. 50,000. This move was taken after Raj moved his bail application in court on Saturday. In his application, he claimed to being made a ‘scapegoat’, followed by the charge sheet having no evidence that he was involved in the production of the pornographic content and publishing it on an app named, Hotshots.
The Crime branch handling this case, in a supplementary charge sheet has mentioned Raj Kundra, along with the other three was creating pornographic films. It also mentioned the trio publishing the same via some apps. Shilpa Shetty’s husband was arrested on July 19, 2021. He was booked under the section of IPC and Information Technology Act when the matter came to light. Post which he has remained in judicial custody as the cops in charge probed into this case.
As per the report, it was mentioned in the bail plea that there was not a single allegation against Raj Kundra in the entire supplementary charge sheet about him shooting the said content. It is also reported he was falsely dragged into this case, and his name was not mentioned in the FIR. The report stated he was dragged by the cops in this case.
Post his arrest Shilpa Shetty released an official statement requesting the people to let the family have its privacy. Her several cryptic posts hinted at her state of mind, while her husband was in judicial custody.
