Shilpa Shetty's mother Sunanda Shetty has filed a cheating complaint in a land deal case after allegedly being cheated of Rs 1.6 crore. She had purchased a piece of land from a man named Sudhakar Ghare but was cheated with fake papers. A case has been registered under relevant sections of IPC.

ANI quoted the Mumbai police as, "Sunanda Shetty, mother of Shilpa Shetty files a cheating complaint against a person named Sudhakar Ghare in land deal case. The accused, with the help of fake papers, had sold land to Sunanda for Rs 1.6 crore. Case has been registered under relevant sections of IPC: Mumbai Police." No more details about the cheating case are revealed yet.

On the work front, Shilpa Shetty recently starred in Hungama's sequel. The movie which also stars Paresh Rawal, Pranitha Subhash, Meezaan Jaffri, Rajpal Yadav and John Lever received a mixed response from the audience. Prior to the release of the film, Shilpa urged everyone to watch the movie.

Given the ongoing controversy around her husband Raj Kundra's business, she has also been missing from the dance reality show, Super Dancer Chapter 4. She was seen as one of the judges on the show. Last week, Karisma Kapoor made an appearance as a guest judge. This week, Bollywood's power couple Genelia D'Souza and Riteish Deshmukh will be appearing as guest judges. According to ETimes, "They (Riteish Deshmukh and Genelia D'Souza) love the show (Super Dancer Chapter 4) and agreed instantly. It would be fun to have them, anyway a fresh take on the proceedings is always welcome."
