Shilpa Shetty's Mother Sunanda Undergoes SURGERY From Cardiologist Who Treated Sushmita Sen’s Heart Attack; Actress Shares A PIC From Hospital
Shilpa Shetty shares a picture of her mother from the hospital informing fans that she underwent surgery!
Bollywood actress Shilpa Shetty recently informed fans that her mother Sunanda underwent surgery. She posted a picture of her mom lying in a hospital bed alongside a lengthy heartfelt note where she called her mother ‘hero’ and applauded her indomitable spirit. Shilpa mentioned that if there’s anything she wants to emulate from her mom it’s her guts and her fighting spirit. To note, Sunanda was treated by Cardiologist Dr. Rajeev Bhagwat, he is the same doctor who treated Sushmita Sen when she suffered a heart attack.
On Thursday, the Dhadkan actress posted a picture of her mom posing with the doctor from Nanavati hospital in Mumbai. Alongside it, she penned a note thanking the doctor and hospital's staff for their support. She also asked her Instafam to pray for her mother's full recovery. Shilpa wrote, “Seeing a parent undergo a surgery is never easy for any child. But, if there’s anything I want to emulate from my mom it’s her guts and her fighting spirit.The last few days have been a roller coaster. But, my hero and my hero’s hero saved the day! Thankyou so much, Dr Rajeev Bhagwat for taking such good care of Ma before, during, and after her surgery.”
She added, “A HUGE thank you with a grateful heart, to the doctors and the staff at Nanavati for their relentless support & care. Please do keep Ma in your prayers till she makes a full recovery, my dearest #InstaFam Prayers work miracle.” Many of her industry friends including Raveena Tandon, Dia Mirza, Sophie Choudry wished Sunanda a speedy recovery. Both Shilpa and Shamita are very close to their mom and often express their love for her in public domain.
Meanwhile, Shilpa Shetty will next be seen in Rohit Shetty’s cop-drama Indian Police Force which also features Sidharth Malhotra and Vivek Oberoi.
