In a recent interview, Fardeen poured his heart out and revealed why he stayed away from the film industry for over a decade. From talking about the death of his father Feroz Khan to his wife Natasha losing twins due to her pregnancy complications, the actor revealed that he went through a lot in the past few years.

Speaking to Bollywood Hungama, Fardeen stated that he faced a tough phase after the tragic demise of his father Feroz Khan. He needed some time off as he suffered from a health scare in 2009 just a few months after his death. Further, talking about his wife Natasha Madhwani’s pregnancy complications, the No Entry actor was quoted saying, “Then we were very keen to have a family, Natasha and me, we had challenges having children so we had to go down the IVF route. We had a bad experience with doctors here in Mumbai and Natasha really suffered, it's very very hard on the body and your health.”

“In 2011, we made a shift to London, we found a really nice doctor there. In one of her initial pregnancies, we had twins, and she lost them at six months. So that was very very hard for us, it was a tough time. She did a live birth, and we lost the babies,” he added. Fardeen and Natasha were finally blessed with their first child, a daughter in 2012. The actor also revealed that they both wanted to have another child to complete their family and thus became proud parents to a boy in 2017.
