Renowned '90s singer Anuradha Paudwal is in legal trouble as a Kerala woman named Karmala Modex, claims that she is the daughter of the popular singer. Karmala has also sought a compensation of Rs 50 crore from her alleged biological parents for denying her the childhood. Paudwals have been asked to appear in the district court on January 27, 2020.

Renowned '90s singer Anuradha Paudwal is in legal trouble as a Kerala woman named Karmala Modex, who lives in Kerala’s Thiruvananthapuram claims that she is the daughter of the popular singer. A case has been filed in the district family court by the woman. The 45-Year-Old woman revealed that she was handed over to her foster parents Ponnachan and Agnes by Paudwal when she was just an infant. She further revealed that Paudwal had a tight schedule owning to her playback singing career and also she didn’t want to raise a child at the point of the time.

Speaking to about same to Indian Express, Karma who was born in 1974 said, “About four-five years ago, my foster father Ponnachan confessed on his deathbed that my biological mother was actually Anuradha Paudwal. I was told that I was four days old when I was handed over to my foster parents. Ponnachan, who was posted in the Army in Maharashtra at the time, was friends with Anuradha. Reportedly, Karmala revealed that Ponnachan, her foster father revealed this truth to her when he was on his deathbed. After she was told about her being the daughter of the popular singer Anuradha, she tried to call her but couldn’t really get through. Karmala is currently married with three children. She and her family have now decided to pursue it legally. Karmala has also sought a compensation of Rs 50 crore from her biological parents for allegedly denying her the childhood and life she was entitled to.

The district family court in Thiruvananthapuram has asked Paudwal and her two children to appear in person on January 27 when the case comes up for hearing. If Paudwal and her husband reject Karmala’s claim, she would ask for a DNA test, reports Indian Express.
