Samantha Ruth Prabhu opened up about her myositis diagnosis, shortly after reports of her quitting her Bollywood projects did rounds on the internet
After entertaining the audiences with her action-thriller Yashodha, Samantha Ruth Prabhu was all set to start shooting for her upcoming Bollywood projects after recuperating from her illness. However, if the reports doing rounds are anything to by, it seems like she has been advised to rest for three-months away from the public eye which has led her to quit Raj and DK’s Citadel.
Yes, you that right! According to a report by Siasat, Samantha has opted out from working on the Varun Dhawan starrer, owing to her ill health. India TV quoted the media publication, “Samantha is no more a part of Raj and DK’s web series.” It is being said that the actor has been advised to remain “completely disappeared from the public for the next three months.” Samantha and her team are yet to officially announce the same. For the unversed, this is not the first time such rumours are floating around. A few weeks prior, Samantha’s team had reacted to the speculations of her quitting her movies. They had said, “We have been giving the clarity (to the makers) from the beginning to proceed according to the planned schedules if it is not possible to wait. Samantha has not walked out of any of the accepted projects officially. Talking about Citadel, the series is being termed as a local original spy series. The series was first announced by the Russo Brothers and will star Richard Madden, Priyanka Chopra and Stanley Tucci. Set to premiere in 2023, the filmmakers from all over the world have announced the production of a local series by the same name. It is being said that all Citadel productions will eventually be merged with characters coming together.
On the work front, Samantha Ruth Prabhu also has upcoming films ‘Shaakuntalam’ and ‘Arrangements Of Love’ in the pipeline.
