Vijay Gutte’s mother, Sudamati Gutte, lodged a complaint against Ratnakar Gutte and his 6 family members at Parli in Beed district of Maharashtra
The Accidental Prime Minister starring Anupam Kher and Akshaye Khanna may have opened to mixed reviews but director Vijay Gutte is facing trouble in his personal life. His mother, Sudamati Gutte, has lodged a complaint of domestic violence against her husband, Ratnakar Gutte, and his 6 family members at Parli in Beed district of Maharashtra, according to a PTI report.
“In her complaint filed on Friday, she (Sudamati) alleged that her husband and his family members subjected her to mental and physical torture over a family dispute. They also threatened her to transfer a property to their name,” the official told the portal.
The police has booked Ratnakar and his family under IPC sections 498A (husband or relative of husband of a woman subjecting her to cruelty), 323 (punishment for voluntarily causing hurt) 504 (intentional insult with intent to provoke breach of peace) and others. The official added that the investigation is underway and no arrest has been made yet.
Reportedly, in the complaint, Sudamati also alleged that Ratnakar was a habitual drinker and would visit dance bars. He also subjected her to physical and mental torture saying he did not like her, the police told PTI. In August 2018, Vijay Gutte, was arrested for alleged Goods and Services Tax (GST) fraud of over Rs 34 crore. He had been booked under section 132 (1)(c) of the CGST Act, which pertains to “wrongful availment” of input tax credit using bills and invoices that have been issued without any supply of goods or services.
