SHOCKING! Yami Gautam Confesses Being Advised To Go Under The Knife; Says, ‘I Have A Nose Like Pakore’
Yami Gautam opened up about about how she was advised to go under the knife and expressed her disappointment when young actresses listen to such advices
Bollywood actress Yami Gautam has won millions of hearts with her acting prowess and natural beauty. Having been a part of the industry for more than a decade now, she is one of the few actresses who prefers to just let their work speak for themselves. She has made a name for herself in the industry without the help of a godfather. During a recent interview she spoke about how she was once advised to go under the knife.
Recalling the incident, she told Indian Express, that some people might be genuinely interested in helping one build a good career and giving out good advice. However, some advices can be “as outlandish as getting a face surgery done.” The 34-year-old revealed that she was once asked to get a nose job. She said, “There are so many advice floating around (this was one of them)... The Vicky Donor actress told the media publication that she flat out refused to go under the knife. She went on to question why people are obsessed with other people’s faces. Yami expressed her disappointment for the girls who take such advice seriously. While going under the knife is a personal decision, one shouldn’t do it because others say so. She continued, “I am no one to comment on anybody else. But I feel it is not right, if you want to do something, that should be your choice. It shouldn’t be coming from anyone, that, ‘Oh, this is what you need to do so then you will get cast or look better.’ I don’t agree with all those things.”
On the work front, Yami was last seen in Netflix’s Chor Nikal Ke Bhaga co-starring Sunny Kaushal.
