And now, the actress has bagged Sajid Nadiadwala’s Baaghi opposite Tiger Shroff.
Yes, its the same film that was supposed to have newbie Disha Patani as the female lead. The 19-year-old was supposed to make her debut with Karan Johars No Sex Please. However, the film got shelved. History repeated itself when she was picked up by Ekta Kapoor for Vanity Fair.
It seemed that Disha would be third time lucky with Baaghi. We had told you how the debutante had even done a look test with Tiger (SpotboyE.com, January 31). Sajid as well as the films director, Sabbir Khan, were happy with the results and had almost zeroed in on her.
But in a shocking move, the Aashiqui actress has grabbed the film from Dishas hands.
Sure, Shraddhas newfound popularity may have tilted the balance in her favour. But we wonder what made the team look out for another face when they had almost sealed the deal with Disha.
