Shriya Saran Reveals Her New-Born Baby Is 9-Months-Old, Shares Details About Her Pregnancy
Shriya Saran took fans by surprise on Monday as she and her husband Andrei Koscheev announced that they became parents earlier this year.
Shriya Saran and her husband Andrei Koscheev on Monday treated their fans and followers with a sweet surprise. The couple on Instagram revealed that they have embraced parenthood. In an interview now, Shriya has spilled the beans on the secrecy and the reason to break the news now.
"My baby is 9-months-old and I don't think that I could've hidden her any longer. She's already a well-travelled baby who has been to quite a few parts around the globe. I feel so happy; it's like a child has given birth to a mother. Radha is my best friend," Shriya told ETimes.
She also revealed that they have named her Radha and said, “My husband Andrei loves the name."
"Radha was born in Barcelona. It's a planned baby. The world had come to an abrupt halt and we thought it was the best time to start a family. It was a normal delivery; it went off smoothly," she added.

Shriya also spoke about how she planned a baby with hubby Andrei in 2020 while the world was reeling from the COVID-19 outbreak. "The world had come to an abrupt halt and we thought it was the best time to start a family," she said, adding, "I have sufficient help and support system. My mom is here; so it's not going to be tough to look after Radha while I'm shooting."
On Monday, Shriya Saran, who got married in 2018 to her Russian boyfriend Andrei Koscheev, revealed in a video that the couple welcomed their baby, earlier this year. In the video, she shared a glimpse of her adorable baby. Shriya can be seen holding her baby in the video - while Andrei enjoys a beverage. Soon, she says, “This is 2021," after which a slide of throwback pictures from the time when Shriya was pregnant starts.
Shriya captioned the video, “Hello people , we had a crazy but the most beautiful 2020 quarantine . While the whole world was going through a beautiful turmoil , our world changed for ever …. To a world full of adventures , excitement and learning. We are blessed to have an Angel in our life . We are so grateful to god !”
