Shruti: I Have No Time For Love
Shruti Haasan is looking forward to her next film, Gabbar is Back. Yesterday, SpotboyE.com caught up with the actress for a brief chat. Excerpts:

 
What's your role in your upcoming film Gabbar is Back?
I play a lawyer. Interestingly, my name in the film is Shruti.
 
Why is the film called Gabbar is Back?
Akshay Kumar is Gabbar; his name instills fear in the people who play corrupt in the film (smiles).
 
Time to talk about Akshay's PWD- Power Wala Danda. Have you ever been at the receiving end in your life?
I was a good girl in school and college. So I didn't get any 'power wala danda'. But as an actor if we don't work hard, the audience will definitely give me a bamboo (read; power wala danda).
 
How was it working with Akshay?
He is known to play pranks, but he didn't even try any prank on me.
 
Did he teach you his favourite sport, martial arts?
No, maybe because I don't have to fight in the film. But he is always talking about things related to health and fitness.


 
What do you think of your sister, Akshara (she made her Bollywood debut in Shamitabh)?
She has made me proud.

Are you helping her in choosing scripts?
No, she is smart enough.
 
Do you take advice from your mom and dad?
I stay alone, so I like to take decisions myself. I prefer not to take advise from them because if their advice doesn't work out, I never want to hold them responsible for anything. 
 
Are you single?
Yes, and I am not lying.
 
Are you looking for love?
No, I am very busy in my career. I love myself too much. I can't share myself with anyone .
 
Aren't your parents looking forward to your marriage?
No, they never say: Where are our grand kids? (laughs).
