Veteran Bollywood actors Amitabh Bachchan and Jaya Bachchan’s daughter Shweta Bachchan recently recalled one of her childhood experiences. On her daughter Navya Naveli Nanda’s podcast What The Hell season 2, she shared a few anecdotes from her personal life and made shocking revelations about her. One of those relatable experiences entailed the actress recalling how the actress would hit her on the head while trying to tie her hair for school.

The ladies during the third episode of the podcast indulged in a discussion regarding wellness. Shweta went on to recall how her brother, actor Abhishek Bachchan had cut off a chunk of her hair, with scissors, while she was sleeping after one of their arguments. In a way to make her daughter look presentable, the 75-year-old actress would comb her hair and pin it up so that it didn’t show. Shweta went on to add how Jaya would comb her hair every day before school. Quoted by Bollywood Shaadis, she added, “Nani used to do my hair every morning before going to school and I used to get so many whacks on my head with the comb. 'Sit straight, Sit straight.' Thack on my head. Braiding my hair tight, tight, tight. For the unversed, Navya Naveli Nanda is a graduate from New York's Fordham University. She is the co-owner of Aara Health, an online platform that discusses health issues. Last year, she hosted a podcast ‘What The Hell Navya’ alongside her grandmother Jaya Bachchan and mother Shweta Bachchan Nanda where she addressed topics relating to women's health and hygiene. This year she is back with a second season of her podcast.
