Producer Siddharth Roy Kapur has over the years contributed a lot to the Indian cinema. The producer has now got unanimously elected as the President of the Producers Guild of India for the fourth consecutive term
Siddharth Roy Kapur has over the years marked his contribution towards Indian cinema with his talent and hard work. The producer has produced and released successful films like Taare Zameen Par, Jodhaa Akbar, Fashion, Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani, Barfi!, ABCD, Kai Po Che, The Lunchbox, Chennai Express and several others. As Siddharth has been the President of the Film and Television Producers Guild of India, the producer once again gets unanimously elected as the President of the Guild.
The producer is the founder of Roy Kapur Films and was the previous managing director of The Walt Disney Company India. About today, Trade Analyst Taran Adarsh took to Instagram to share the news of Siddharth Roy Kapur being elected as the President of the Producers Guild of India once again. The post read, “#Update: Siddharth Roy Kapur unanimously re-elected President of Producers Guild of India for the fourth consecutive term...Annual General Meeting was held in #Mumbai yesterday.” While the producer has been elected unanimously for the post of the President, he will be serving his term for the fourth consecutive time now. Siddharth Roy Kapur got elected as the President in the Annual General Meeting held by the Guild in Mumbai yesterday.
Meanwhile, Siddharth Roy Kapur is busy with his upcoming film The Sky Is Pink directed by Shonali Bose. The film is also co-produced by Ronnie Screwvala and Priyanka Chopra as well. The Sky Is Pink stars Priyanka Chopra Jonas, Farhan Akhtar, Zaira Wasim and Rohit Suresh Saraf in lead roles. The trailer of the film has already been released and is slated to release on October 11, this year.
