Sidharth Malhotra On His 'Shershaah' Co-star And Rumoured Girlfriend Kiara Advani: 'She Gives A Sense Of Purity'
Sidharth Malhotra talks about what he likes and admires about his 'Shershaah' co-star Kiara Advani’s personality both on- and off- camera. Here’s what he said.
Sidharth Malhotra, who is currently basking in the success of his recently released ‘Shershaah’, has been quite vocal about her bond with her co-star and rumoured girlfriend Kiara Advani. Not only does the actor admire Kiara’s professionalism, but also seems to be in awe of her off-screen personality. In a recent interview with ETimes, Sidharth revealed what connects him with Kiara on- and off- the camera.
“I think even personally, there is a sense of regularness to her, which we both connect on. I am a boy who is from Delhi and I am not connected to the industry per se, but now have been here for many years. She has been working for a couple of years as well. We both have lives away from the industry and that is something that we connect on and cherish. Sometimes you get so embroiled in all these things that you forget to have a regular life. I think both of us have regular lives and that’s what we connect on,” Sidharth was quoted as saying.
Sidharth added that they both met a couple of years ago for the film. But before that, he had seen and met her on the sets of Karan Johar’s show ‘Lust Stories.’ And, both KJo and he felt that she has a great sense of earnestness and honesty as an actor. Therefore, they were eager to get her on board for Dimple’s role.
“She gives a sense of purity. On the sets, too, she is instinctive; I would want to do more takes, but she would be okay with it,” Sidharth further said.
Sidharth Malhotra also spoke about getting rave reviews for 'Shershaah' and mentioned that he is currently soaking in the love and the appreciation that is coming to the film.
