Sona Mohapatra Shares Monokini Pics; Gets Into Twitter War With Sapna Bhavnani, Wishes Her ‘More Sense, Less Bitterness’
Sona Mohapatra, known to express her views fearlessly on her social media and raising her voice, especially in the wake of #MeToo movement, recently took to Twitter and shared some stunning pictures of herself in a black monokini. She then took to Twitter and wrote how she was shamed for putting up those pictures with some people writing that she wears slutty clothes and then says #MeToo, and some felt let down and commented that they thought Sona was a serious person. She wrote, “I refuse to fit in to any box, just like I refuse to suck in my well earned belly.2020 here I Come!

Now, celebrity hairstylist Sapna Bhavnani made an indirect reference and while she did not name anyone in her Tweet, she wrote, “also tired of women posing in skimpy clothes and thinking its #feminism .. that shit is tired ... would love to see some new perspectives #2020 ...” This tweet led to a Twitter spat and Sona Mohapatra replied with, “Maybe so in the place you come from & had the privilege to grow up in Sapna. It is not so ‘liberal’ in most parts of our country & the world in fact. So let people do their thing. You do yours. It did not end there and Sapna called Sona Mohapatra a hypocrite. She wrote, “you have to be the biggest hypocrite yet .. tweeting about people saying a bikini doesn't suit you to now womansplaining me that "shit" doesn't suit me .. please make another film on yourself since you are so great.. leave us thrash women to our shit!” Sona replied saying that she is getting personal dragging her film into it. She wrote, “I wish you more sense & less bitterness 2020.”











In other news, Indian music composer Ram Sampath recently talked about his wife Sona Mohapatra’s MeToo fight and while talking to ZoomTV, he said that he is very proud of his wife and every other woman who is standing up for the movement.
