The Jasleen Kaur incident was all that the online world was talking about, a few days go. For those who've missed it, the girl took to Facebook to accuse a certain Saravjit Singh of passing obscene remarks at her.
Now, you know Sonakshi Sinha - the girl's a firebrand. As soon as she heard of this incident, she stood up in support of Jasleen. The actress wrote, "Well done Jasleen! Hope this serves as a warning to all the creeps and encouragement to every girl to take action!"
The story created so much buzz that it even led to the arrest of Saravjit. And that's when things took a shocking turn.
Saravjit denied passing any lewd comments and said that he was being targeted by Jasleen. No one believed him until an eyewitness gave his statement, which proved Saravjit was actually innocent.
Any other star would have probably let the issue slide by. But not our Sona darlin'. When she realised she is in the wrong, she took to Twitter and apologized to Saravjit.
