Sonakshi Still Keen On Sarbjit Biopic?

Sonakshi Sinha was the first choice for the Sarbjit biopic when it was being produced by Subhash Ghai. After that, the project underwent many changes in terms of director and casting.
The film is finally being directed by Omung Kumar and co-produced by Zeishan Qadri. Given the director’s proximity to his Mary Kom actress, Priyanka Chopra is believed to be a strong favourite to play Dalbir Kaur, who fought a long but unsuccessful battle to free her brother Sarbjit from Pakistan prison.
Now, we hear that Sonakshi is still keen on the film. The actress presence at Omung's recent bash added to the speculation that she might be in contention for the role. We also hear that she has been sending feelers to him, expressing her interest in the project.
